This route takes us through the scenic landscapes of the Dobra River area, where history and nature intertwine.

The first section winds along the picturesque right bank of the Dobra River on a narrow, traffic-free road, perfect for enjoying in the tranquil views. After 12 km, we reach a crossroads near an old stone bridge, built in the late 19th century in a distinctive S-shape. This bridge is part of a historic road network that once connected this region.

Soon, we arrive at Terme Lešće, an ideal spot to rest and rejuvenate (with the option to take a dip in the thermal pools). The springs are famed for their “healing” mineral waters, cherished by locals and visitors alike.

Continuing onward, we cycle toward Bosiljevo, home to the medieval Bosiljevo Castle. Built in the 15th century and modified over time, this atmospheric ruin captivates with its weathered beauty. (Note: We recommend admiring the castle from the outside, as the interior is unsafe to explore.)

The final stretch follows a peaceful road to Trošmarija.

How to get to the start

The easiest way to reach Trošmarija is by car. However, if you don’t have access to a vehicle, we recommend starting your ride from Generalski Stol instead, which is reachable by train.
