On early spring morning I took a train to Karlovac to follow rivers on bicycles. I am following river Kupa, river Krka and river Sava. It is great spring ride, not much of hills. Ok, ok, they are two hills to tackle. What kind of ride would be without hills and of course head wind. That head wind always makes things harder. Why it have to blow head on. Hm, I wonder why ?
Route took me, most of the time, over low traffic roads with beautiful scenery and spring in full bloom. Next try will be in autumn. Part of ride from Ozalj to Kamanje is simply beautiful. Their are rolling hills one after another with nice views. After ascent after Semič you will be greeted with a long descend with blooming nature surrounding you.
Since it is a long route and I needed a rest (it is not a race) I stopped in Novo Mesto and Samobor. Guess what I did while I was resting ?
Few things to know, I forgot to start gps for the first 40 km, so I mixed track from Strava and my original track after Metlika. I will fix track in autum.
